SMACNA (Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ Association Boston Chapter) Boston is a regional trade association representing union sheet metal and air conditioning contractors in Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The association focuses on negotiations of collective bargaining agreements, education and training and implementing policy that benefits the industry.
ICANE (Insulation Contractors Association of New England) represents the premier union commercial and industrial insulation contractors in areas of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont. ICANE contractors provide services in all aspects of mechanical insulation, abatement and other specialty contracting services. The organization focuses on negotiations of collective bargaining agreements, education and training and implementing policy that benefits the industry.
PFEANE and GEANE (Painting and Finishing Employers’ Association of New England/Glass Employers’ Association of New England) are the collective industry voice for contractors in painting, finishing and glass. The joint effort of these two associations provides programs and services to improve signatory member contractors’ standing in the New England region.
CEANE (Carpenters Employers’ Association of New England) represents New England’s union carpenters. Its members are the region’s highest performing and expertly trained carpenters. It is the association’s mission to advocate, negotiate and promote specialty contractors in today’s competitive industry.
Established in 2006, NEA (Northeast Erectors Association) is a regional association that represents metal and steel erectors in the northeast. The association’s goal is enabling the industry access to essential technical information and industry updates that enhance the economic position of signatory members in the field.
BRCA (Boston Roofing Contractors Association) is the regional association for roofing contractors in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Delaware. BRCA works with national organizations, including National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) and other major industry organizations to develop the roofing industry.
NEMA (Northeast Millwrights Association) represents construction professionals in the metal and machinery industry who have exceptional skills and work primarily with machinery and equipment. The association works toward the advancement of signatory members in the industry. NEMA has collective bargaining agreements covering the entire northeast region.
