This highly interactive module teaches individuals about the costs of ineffectiveness, and the benefits of effective safety leadership. Most importantly, it teaches individuals about 5 critical leadership skills that can be used on the jobsite to more effectively communicate and work with crew members to create a stronger jobsite safety climate. Research has shown a correlation between applying the FSL leadership skills and reducing the amount of waste created by not using, or underutilizing, available talent; an important principle of Lean Construction. This course has been developed by the CPWR Center for Construction Research and Training.
