“Blueprints for Well‑Being: Mental Health Awareness for Women in Construction”

In this session, we’ll explore how to build strong, supportive networks and navigate difficult conversations around mental health. Through personal stories and practical skills, we’ll discuss how to recognize warning signs of suicide, offer emotional support to someone who is struggling, and encourage professional help in a compassionate way. We’ll address the importance of self-care and peer support for women in construction, overcoming the fear of saying the wrong thing, and cultivating community. Additionally, we’ll explore the unique challenges women face in balancing multiple identities—as mothers, professionals, caregivers, and more—while fostering connections that support both themselves and those around them.

Content warning: This program will include discussions about mental health, suicide, and grief. These topics can be challenging, and we encourage you to prioritize your wellness. If you need to step away or seek support, please take care of yourself. Resources will be shared for all.
