Overview

This hands-on workshop shows contractors how to put artificial intelligence to work on real construction challenges. Through live demonstrations and interactive exercises, participants will see AI analyze contracts, identify project risks, and cross-reference specifications against drawings to flag costly change orders. Attendees will also compete in team-based prompt challenges, bring their toughest problems to “Stump the AI,” and even build a working AI agent during the session. Each participant leaves with access to a construction-trained custom GPT, along with prompt libraries, step-by-step guides, and tools to immediately apply AI in the field or office.

  • Identify how AI can streamline contract review and detect risk areas that impact construction projects.
  • Apply AI tools to project schedules and specifications to proactively flag risks and potential change orders.
  • Evaluate AI-generated solutions against real-world construction challenges through interactive exercises.
  • Build and deploy a basic AI agent tailored to construction workflows.
  • Implement practical AI-driven tools and prompt strategies using the provided toolkit and custom GPT access.
